Battery settings for Samsung Android phones

If you have trouble tracking with your Samsung Android phone and find you are missing trips or having inaccurate tracking, it is quite possible you are having problems with your battery optimisation settings. These settings can shut off apps running in the background in an attempt to preserve battery life, but in our case it will stop tracking from working. If the app is not restarted manually, tracking does not restart.

There are some different settings required for each version of Android. Click here if you need to find your Android version.
