How to: Access and report on archived trips

To improve your Driversnote app experience, we have begun to archive trips more than two years old and lock these records. This will happen automatically and you will not have to do anything to activate this.

Archiving older trips will speed up your app, prevent your app from crashing, and provide you with a better experience overall.

These trips will still be accessible for your records and will not change. However, there are some important things to remember:

  • You will not be able to make changes to these older trips in the app or on the web

Trips that are archived are "locked" in your records. Generally trips from this earlier time should not need to be changed, but if you are checking these older records you will not be able to edit these trips.

  • You will still be able to make reports for trips in this range.

You will always be able to make the reports you need, even for older trips that have been archived. As long as you have a subscription, all trips will still be there when you make the reports you need.

Note: New manual trips cannot be added more than two years in the past, so while records from that time will be available in your reports, you cannot add new trips from that time, or make alterations to existing trips from that time.
