How to: Sign up and sign in with SSO for your Driversnote Team (Member)
This guide is for team members who need to join a Driversnote team that uses Single Sign-on (SSO) for their team setup and account authorisation. If you are an Organisation Admin that needs to setup your team with SSO, we have a guide aimed at your needs.
If your organization uses Single Sign-On (SSO), you’ll sign in to Driversnote using your company account instead of a password.
Learn how to join your team and log in to Driversnote using SSO on web and mobile.
What is Single Sign-On?
Single Sign-On (SSO) lets you access Driversnote using your organization’s login system (for example Microsoft, Google, or Okta).
With SSO:
- You don’t need a separate Driversnote password
- You sign in using your company email and credentials
- Your organization manages access centrally
Joining your team with SSO (first-time setup)
Your team admin will send you a secure Driversnote SSO signup link. This link is required to join your organization.
How to join
- Open the secure signup link from your admin
- Click ‘Join team’ on the Driversnote team invite screen
- You’ll be redirected to your organization’s login page
- Sign in using your company credentials
- Return to Driversnote and finish the sign up flow
Once you’ve completed these steps, your Driversnote account will be created and connected to your organization.
Signing in with SSO
After you’ve joined the team, you’ll always sign in using SSO.
On web and mobile
- Go to the Driversnote login screen
- Select Log in with SSO
- Enter your work email address
- You’ll be redirected to your organization’s login page
- Sign in with your company credentials
After successful authentication, you’ll be logged in automatically.
💡 Tip: In some cases, your email address may already be filled in for you.
