Getting Started with the Driversnote API
The Driversnote Public API lets you connect your mileage data to other tools, automate workflows, and build custom integrations - all without manual data entry or exports.
What is the Driversnote API?
The API gives external software programmatic access to your Driversnote account. You can use it to read and manage your trips, reports, vehicles, teams, and more - anything you can do in the Driversnote app, the API can do on your behalf.

Who can use the API?
The API is available to paying Driversnote subscribers.
A note on permissions
The API key inherits the permissions of the user who creates it. This means:
- A regular driver can read and manage their own trips and reports
- A team admin or manager can also access team data, manage members, and approve reports
If your integration needs access to team-level data, ensure the API key is provisioned by someone with the right role.
