Introduction to multiple teams
Previously, you could only make one team per account. But with the needs of businesses of various sizes, we have decided to change this.
Multiple teams will allow you to set up separate teams within your company that can then have every feature of a team customised to fit their requirements. Mileage rates, reporting periods, reporting details and tags can all be set separately for each time, when previously your whole company team had to keep all this the same. We know how many of you asked for multiple rates for your team!
Now, after you create a new team, you will see a new option to "Create new team +" and when you launch this, you will start a new process to create an organisation.
What is your organisation?
Organisation is a top-level designation to allow multiple team creation. When you create a second team and then organisation, you will automatically become the organisation admin.
Organisation is defined as soon as you create a second team and is then accompanied by the Organisation settings page that allows you as organisation admin to control all functions of each team in your organisation. You can add and remove members, move members between teams, add and manage licences and manage all the details for each team.
Note: It it important to remember that when you purchase licenses as super-admin, the licenses can be used across all the teams in your organisation.
When you have created your organisation, you can create as many teams as you need, then control all the functions of that team. You can assign administrators and managers to each team and control the license distribution across the teams.
