How to: archive/delete a workplace

When a workplace has been archived, you can still find the trips in the Trip List. To track new trips under the workplace, it must first be restored. A workplace can be archived and restored in the app and on the website. 

If you permanently delete a workplace, already created reports will remain available.

Archive a workplace in the app

  1. Open the app and tap on Settings at the bottom right
  2. Scroll down to Reporting and tap on Workplaces
  3. Tap on the workplace you want to archive
  4. At the bottom, tap Archive workplace
  5. Tap Archive

Delete a workplace in the app

  1. Ensure that all trips under the workplace are deleted or moved to a different workplace
  2. Follow steps 1 through 5 above
  3. Tap on Archived in the top right
  4. Tap the workplace you want to delete
  5. Tap Permanently delete workplace
  6. In the pop-up window, tap OK

Tip: We recommend that you archive workplaces instead of deleting them. If you want to delete a workplace, create a report with all the trips beforehand.

Help! I want to archive a workplace, but I get the message: "Cannot archive"

You cannot archive your last workplace. To archive it, you must create a new workplace first.


Archive a workplace on the website

  1. Login to your account
  2. Click on Settings in the upper right-hand corner
  3. Click on Workplaces shown in the drop-down menu
  4. Click on the workplace you want to archive
  5. Click on Archive
  6. Click on Confirm

Delete a workplace on the website

  1. Ensure that all trips under the workplace are deleted or moved to a different workplace
  2. Follow steps 1 through 5 above
  3. Click on Settings in the upper right-hand corner
  4. Click on Workplaces shown in the drop-down menu
  5. Click on the workplace you want to delete
  6. Click on Delete

Archiving & deleting Team workplaces

It is currently not possible to archive or delete a Team workplace.
