How to: change settings for teams reporting

There are options available to change settings for how you create reports as part of a team and what is visible in those reports.

As part of a team, the team administrator can set these options for the whole team, when using the team workplace. Team managers and members cannot change these settings for the team.

You can find report details settings by logging into your account at https://www.driversnote.com/ then going to Settings > Report details.

If you have multiple workplaces you will need to choose the workplace report settings you want to edit.

Note: If you are using Driversnote as an individual user, you have access to these features, but it will work slightly differently. Please see our article on How to: change settings for personal reporting.

These are the options available:

Options for report settings

Start and end time – this will add start and end time of trips to your PDF report (they are always available in the Excel report).

Flag manual trips – trips that were added manually will be marked in the report (by the icon below online, or by a Yes in the final column of the saved PDF).

Hide personal trip details – if you select this option, from and to trip location details will be blurred and hidden in all report views, including when you save the report as a PDF or Excel file. You will still see the date, time, distance and classification of a trip, but no details about the actual trip locations or route.

Trip route – Selecting this option will add an icon that will reveal the trip route taken on a map view. This is only available if you view the report online (not in PDF or Excel format). Personal trips will have the map available also, unless you select the Hide personal trip details option above.

When you have clicked the button to make your selections, click Save at the bottom of the options.

You can see below how these features look in the report.
