Tracking Health & Settings Requirements

This is an experimental feature currently available only to a limited number of users.

We want to provide you with the best mileage tracking experience and in order to do that we need to make sure that your phone is set up to track your trips accurately.

The Tracking Health settings page will help you set up and keep your phone settings "healthy" and ensure you a good outset for tracking your trips accurately. A red Tracking Health indicator means that the Driversnote app requires some adjustments in your phone settings.

You can always check if your phone settings are configured correctly:

  1. Open the Driversnote app
  2. Tap Settings >  Tracking Health

Below are the phone settings and permissions that need to be configured to ensure the best tracking accuracy and keep the Driversnote app working optimally.

Tip

Settings that are required for tracking and auto-tracking (iBeacon / motion detection) with Driversnote might revert back to their default when either the phone’s software is updated, an app is not used very often or an app is deleted and reinstalled. We recommend you open the app on your phone to check your trips daily and to ensure that Driversnote is set up properly.
